Well, after much anticipation and a few mental breakdowns, the day finally came for my biopsy. I was truly not looking forward to this one just because of the way it had to be done with the needle in the neck. When it came down to it, it was uncomfortable and for some reason, the left side hurt a little more than the right but I survived. The doctor was able to get six samples so I feel like that was enough. Hopefully I will be hearing something in the next couple of days and even more hopeful that it will be great news.
I took a Xanax to help calm my nerves before the procedure so thankfully I had my friend Jeannie to drive me there and back because those pills affect me greatly. Also thanks to my friend Terry and her daughter Noelle for bringing me chocolate covered strawberries and dinner for tonight because she knew I would not feel like cooking and she was right.
I was really tired and light headed. Thankfully my friend Amy came over to help me pack up the lunches for tomorrow, which I had already cooked, thank goodness. Of course she couldn’t stop there and she ended up cleaning my whole kitchen. Oh darn 😏😊 I really have the best friends ever. So many of you checked up on me and sent me words of encouragement and prayed for me. I really am so blessed to have so many people that love and care for Caleb and I. Thank you so much.
I’m still working hard and cooking up a storm. It seems as if I add new customers everyday. I can’t even imagine if I was actually advertising. It is helping me to feel more secure which is why I don’t want it to end. As I’ve said, things are going really well right now and I don’t want interruptions. In fact, on the 10th of this month, I will be one year old! How exciting is that? 1 year since my bone marrow transplant!!! I want to be able to celebrate that and my new scan and biopsy coming out clear so KEEP PRAYING! I will keep you updated as I find out more information.
Thanks again for all your love and support,
Angela and Caleb
